Transportation and Storage Network

As the role of hydrogen becomes apparent in the transition to Net Zero, an efficient and robust transport and storage (T&S) network is critical to enable widespread adoption. The development of T&S infrastructure involves addressing several key technical, economic, and regulatory challenges, requiring deep public and stakeholder collaboration, with supporting incentives and regulatory framework from the government to accelerate the transition. This section will implore different technologies embedded into the hydrogen T&S infrastructure, their challenges, and technical advancement that must be achieved to realise widespread adoption of hydrogen as an alternative fuel and ensure the management and delivery of hydrogen from production sites to ‘end-use’ applications.
