WORKSHOP: The Role of Hydrogen in National and Regional Energy Planning

Thursday 17th September, University of Warwick

The UK has set ambitious hydrogen targets – but are our infrastructure, supply chains and regions ready to deliver them?

Join us for a strategic workshop on Thursday, 17 September 2026 at the University of Warwick, in collaboration with the University of Birmingham, as part of the Hydrogen Research Hub (HI-ACT).

Your insight is critical. The workshop will bring regional evidence and industry realities directly into our research, helping bridge the gap between national energy expectations (SSEP) and regional feasibility (tRESP). Your contribution will help us develop evidence-based recommendations for policymakers and inform future hydrogen infrastructure, supply-chain and investment decisions.
